The result of the US 2012 election?


This piece is a brief analysis of how the media"killed" Mint-Roomy in the US 2012 election.Based on the psychology of photography, we can see the result of the US election. The media ruined Mint-Roomy by showing him badly! There were series of footages of his campaign across the US. Yet they showed the poorest edits of those footage repeatedly to portray him as a loser.

People vote based on what they can hear and see about the campaign. Since we cannot all travel with these candidates, we rely on the media for who they are. As a result, any candidate that is loved by the media always wins the election. The media showed Roomy begging the audience for votes. "Please help me. I need your help. I need your vote".

On the other hand, the media showed Barack Obama motivating the people! While the media televised a sluggish walking old Roomy; they showed a bouncing energetic Obama saying confidently that: “We will win this election! We will finish what we started! We will strengthen the bonds that bind us together! Yes we can! Let’s move this forward! I have been working for you. This is why I have got grey hair!”

Alas! Those silly News editors have ruined Mr "Mint-Roomy"! Some Rookie media guy somewhere has duped Mint Roomy by taking his money and buying some sweet mints (candy)! The media gave Roomy the poorest media coverage ever. The campaign of Roomy was not projected with the same level of energy we saw in Obama’s campaign.

The media showed pictures of Roomy waving here and there like someone traveling away from his country to some far away land. The footage of Roomy`s campaign was with very little or no speech at all. If there was any speech of Roomy, he was portrayed as a beggar. Roomy was shown affirming Obama. Roomy said: he (Obama) has it. And I will snatch it from him. So, the media portrayed Roomy as someone who wanted to steal what does not belong to him? 

While the media showed Obama connecting with the audience, touching people, hugging people and bonding with strangers; they showed boring Roomy so boringly. While the audience was going crazy for Obama's charisma; they show Roomy waving as loser. Roomy was shown as one exiting the stage for the winner. How will the people not vote for Obama again and again? Can somebody kindly tell Mr Roomy to go back to his roomy room?

The election results have been decided long before it all started. If Mr Roomy has any son who will like to be a US president in the nearest future; let him advice junior to learn how to court the Media. The first rule of the political game is to court the media and shun the sycophants! Why because the Media can make or mar any candidate. Besides, I wonder why Mr Roomy left his roomy room to embark on his political campaign without getting a better stage name? I can't even spell his name rightly or what? Roomy went this far spending so much money without realizing that he was being set up for a failure? Although, this may sound comical, but the underlining is obvious.Yes! I audaciously root for Obama; and its forward ever! Backward never!

funny, i must say. The media, in my opinion, did not kill "Roomy". The media only projected what he has to offer. An example is the " he (Obama) has it. And I will snatch it from him" that you referred to. The media did not say those words; "Roomy" said them.

The media did kill him alright, because the media is certainly, pro-minority, pro-choice, pro-gay....the groups that Obama openly courted and won over! That is the legacy he is leaving behind..what will your legacy be? Compromise so you win, or lose because of what you stand for?
