Another decade is over!

Can we boldly say that we lived a life of meaning in this decade that is wrapping up? A life of meaning is such that transcends materialism, ephemerals, onto redefining eternity. I am reflecting on this lately. I am wondering if  we are all considering such life. Why do you think you are still alive? Why are you still here by now? I am wondering how you escaped those horrible experiences of your past? I am wondering how you did not get trapped in that childhood dysfunctional issues?
This 2011 is a new looming year. It is an invitation to be a part of something bigger than you. It is time to look in the direction of God. It is time to search for a more meaningful life. It is the beginning of another decade within a millennium. It is the beginning of something new. It’s for us a gift, an opportunity, and a chance...to reconsider our individual life purpose. What time do we have left?  How long from home are we? What is this home? -This is an eternal home. We are not talking about a place with a definite address whereby a Taxi cab can drop you off. It is not a home that can be decorated with pictures. It cannot be located with an ordinary GPS! It is not a place that can be googled up on that Google Map. It is our eternal home...If you have not yet given your life to Jesus Christ; you cannot get there. It’s time to begin to re-consider that once again. Jesus Christ came that we might have Life. He came that we might have life more abundantly. It is time to surrender our life to Him this new year. Happy new decade ahead!
