"For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him..." (Colossians 1:16).
The synaptic point of meaning is this: the point where heaven touched the earth was not merely in the manger' birth of Jesus. Rather, it is in the resurrection from the dead. When death could not hold him down, pin him down, or hold him captive.
The meaning of the Christ became known as the anointed one and His anointing.
The one who died and rose again. And He lives forever. The same power that conquers the grave lives in me! "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you." This is Easter. This is the essence. It is that the one who believes in this Christ is no longer bound under the bondage to sin, death, or woe! It is that the limitations of insufficiency no longer holds! It means no holding back! It means "unlimitedness"! It means more than enough! The essence of Easter is now the personhood of the Christ himself!
