Laughable or Laudable?

Could it be that there are laudable courses we may want to die for but that are laughable to God? To God we may wish to execute but somehow they are not in His plan or part of His assignment for us? We may be allowed and permitted to dream it enough ; but we will not be allowed to come close to it. Look at it and then kiss at it a peaceful goodbye? Could there be some ventures that we may be permitted to look on, look at, and look into the future to see, to forecast, and formulate only. Could it be that in some matters of projects, programs and more; we may be called to be dream planners? Could it be that we are called to cast a big plan, give some great insights, write the noble visions down and make it plain for those who will read and run with it to see and know? Could this call be sending us on unto leaving no baggage for posterity rather than resource investments? Could it make us prepare all and leave all? Could it make us walk away with dignity from all what we prepare for a successor somewhere to inherit, adjust, work upon and shine through with ease; while we remain on the history page only? We may not execute the projects but we must have provided the resources for it. We may not be the celebrated keynote speaker and tape cutter of project on inauguration day. It doesn’t matter. We must provide the means to execute it for our successors.
David was not allowed to build the temple of God. He made certain there were adequate gold and silver for the temple. He transferred honor to his son Solomon. Not debt. Sometimes it is wiser to transfer the vision and the resources rather than burn out on the project. At other times, it may be that for some of us, God is saying nothing less than: “Birth this dream, come what may; implement this vision even if it is at our last breathe.”
