The Greatest Puzzle of Lucifer. (Book Excerpt).

One fateful day, Lucifer was strolling on the street of gold in the city of heaven. He looked around in wonder of the glory of heaven. He saw how everything God created was so good. They were so good such that God praised His own works! (Genesis 1:31). All things both living and non-living pointed towards God. He wanted to know why? He sought for the flaws of God. But there was none. "Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?" (Job 11:7).He sought for the foolishness of God. But he found none because the foolishness of God does not exist. "For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength" (1 Corinthians 1:25). So, Satan could not find any fault in God. He thought of ways to take all the credits for what God has done. He desperately wanted to rule creation which he did not create. When he could not rule the creation, he decided to rebel. He perverted everything created by God. But where is the weak point of God?

Where is God's vulnerable point?
Satan wondered why God is never weak?! "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom." (Isaiah 40:28).  Because God is never weak, Satan sought for God’s errors, at least one? But he could not find any. He said:"Okay! Whatever! Maybe God will be weak during his sleep afterall everyone sleeps? But God does not sleep. "Behold, He (God) who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep."(Psalm 121:4). Satan imagines the order in heaven, the level of organization of the host, how everyone was at peace.

All things in heaven and earth point towards God.
Both living and non-living are in serene worship. Lucifer looked at himself and at other angels and marveled at how God was able to form angels differently. "Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:" (Psalm 104:4)."In speaking of the angels he says, "He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire."(Hebrews 1:7). How come the angels does not look like mankind? Yet all creations bow in worship to the one who sits upon the throne. The Cherubs and the Seraphims worship Him. "Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will." (Psalm 103:21 ). Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his heavenly hosts."(Psalm 148:2)." "Attending him were mighty Seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew."(Isaiah 6:2)....the seven spirits before his throne" (Revelation 1:4b).
There is always high praise going on nonstop! There is overwhelming music from all angels.

A new song on daily basis?!
There is full instrumentation. The rhythm and the sound effects were in synchronous to new songs. No song ever gets repeated once it is sung! "O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth." (Psalm 96:1). How did God made it possible such that composition of new songs goes on, on daily basis! Yet the inspirations never runs dry! The level of His attention to details is overwhelming. How did God sew the clothes of each angel? Yet he did not have a sewing machine! How did God  measure the size of angels without a tape-rule? Where is the factory He got their fabrics manufactured? How did he learn to knit? Who taught Him how to sew the Cherubs' robes? How did He cook the Manna the angels eat? "He rained down manna for the people to eat, he gave them the grain of heaven.Men ate the bread of angels; he sent them all the food they could eat."(Psalm 78:24-25).[John 6:31, Deueronomy 8:16,Joshua 5:12,Exodus 16:34,Joshua 5:12].  What are the ingredients of this manna that it has sustained the angels for zillion of years?  How did those four beasts came into being? How come they never get tired of worshiping? How come the lights before the throne of God never burns out? How is it that each candle never need replacements, yet they keep burning! With what seed did God plant the trees of heaven? How did God genetically insert LIFE into the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God (Revelation 2:7). How did God ensure that no manure or fertilizer would be needed to keep the trees of heaven alive?

How could this God be so smart?
Look at all His books! (Revelation 13:8). It means God is a reader and He is really enlightened. But if God reads, who wrote His book? What author does He read? He is too powerful that reads His own works! The awesome God reads Himself! Of course! There is none like Him. None greater than Him! "Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!" (Romans 11:33). His understandings are past finding out! "And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books." (Revelation 20:12). Look at every name of all races written in God’s presence. Look at such up to date register.  How will it feel to take such registration of human race to the bank and take out some money? (John 10:10). How will it feel to take such registration of all human races to the World Bank and just cash out some money in their names? How will it feel to manipulate some figures and be rich in the place of God and in God’s name through impersonation?  Look at who sits over every form of Judgments. Look at the beauty of the one who sits upon the throne Himself. Can you describe the splendor of that magnificent throne He sat on? Behold the Lamb that was slain yet standing! How come He is still alive when He was killed? "Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth."(Revelation 5:6, Revelation 5:12 ,Revelation 13:8).

Where is the boundary of God's reign?
Look at the I AM THAT I AM as He sits upon His highest throne! Can you describe the splendor of that magnificent throne? Besides the fact that mortal eyes cannot see His glory, the mortal mouths cannot explain it! It seems He is the light of this city of heaven? Because we do not need any Sun or Moon either by day or by night. We are always in the light. There is no power failure. All angels dwell in His presence. We are all visible by the power of His Light. Oh! What a level of glory! How can the glory of God be that strong such that He shone day and night? What is the secret of His beauty Where are the construction companies that paved the streets of gold in heaven? What is the secret behind the power of this Person who sits upon the throne? Where is the switch to the light of this city? "There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells." (Psalm 46:4). Where does this river from His presence flows from? Where does it end? God is in the midst of it. It is so stable! What destination does this city lead to? Where is the boundary of the city of God? Where is the boundary of God's reign?

No fault can be found in God
If no fault can be found in this God, then who is this God? Who is God?!  All things both living and non-living pointed towards God:
"....I saw a throne in heaven and someone sitting on it. The one sitting on the throne was as brilliant as gemstones—like jasper and carnelian. And the glow of an emerald circled his throne like a rainbow. Twenty-four thrones surrounded him, and twenty-four elders sat on them. They were all clothed in white and had gold crowns on their heads. From the throne came flashes of lightning and the rumble of thunder. And in front of the throne were seven torches with burning flames. This is the sevenfold Spirit of God. In front of the throne was a shiny sea of glass, sparkling like crystal. In the center and around the throne were four living beings, each covered with eyes, front and back. The first of these living beings was like a lion; the second was like an ox; the third had a human face; and the fourth was like an eagle in flight. Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty—the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.”Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne (the one who lives forever and ever), the twenty-four elders fall down and worship the one sitting on the throne (the one who lives forever and ever). And they lay their crowns before the throne and say, “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.” (Revelation 4:2-11).

How old is God?
Everything worships God. Satan wanted to know why? How old is God? "How great is God--beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out." (Job 36:26). Where is His certificate of birth? Who is this God that He never grows weary or tired? "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom." (Isaiah 40:28). He keeps looking younger by the year. Yet he does not sleep or slumber! It seems He is never going to retire from His divine office. And if God does not retire, where is the hope for Lucifer? How can the dream of ruling heaven come true for Lucifer? Why is God growing younger when every living being grow old and die! From age to age, He is just the same! From generation to generations, He is still God! “His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire."(Revelation 1:14). How will someone like Lucifer (Satan) have a chance to reign where God is not dead and He is not going to die?

Why is it that God can never die?
How did God create Himself that He can never die? How did God create a warrior's sword for Himself? It seems He is a fighter! A warrior! The Lion of the tribe of Judah!  "He has the sharp, double-edged sword." (Revelation 2:12). And swords are for fighting! In event of war, how can one face this kind of God to fight Him? Oh! What a warrior! Look at the lighting effects. It seems the lights emanated out of God Himself?  Can you describe those lightnings? Imagine the sound of His voice?  "...his voice was like the sound of rushing waters..." (Revelation 1:15). Just look at his face! "His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance." (Revelation 1:16). He walks among the seven golden lamp-stands". (Revelation 2:1).

How God dwell in Light yet no eyes can see Him?
He dwells in light, yet no mortal eyes can see Him? "who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen." (1 Timothy 6:16). Besides the fact that sinful eyes cannot see His glory, the mortal mouths cannot explain it! It seems He (God) is even a "Light-Generator!" Because the light of this city of heaven came from Him. We do not need any Sun or Moon day and night. We are always in the presence of Light Himself. "The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp." (Revelation 21:23). What a level of glory! "Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." (Luke 2:13-14)."...and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle" (Exodus 40:34).

How can the glory of God be that strong?
God's glory shone daily. Yet He shone differently from one day to another. He shone without fading? Where is the switch to the lights of the city of God? What is the secret of His beauty? How did He build the New Jerusalem without any bricklayer? "I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." (Revelation 21:2). "Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name." (Revelation 3:12). Where are the construction company that paved these streets of gold of heaven? "The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass." (Revelation 21:21).

What is the secret behind the power of this God?
Where does the river that flows from the city of God go to? God is in the midst of it. It is so stable! If no fault can be found in this God, or all He created, then who is this God?"How can someone be a Person and a temple at the same time? "I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple."(Revelation 21:22).
Lucifer became frustrated at this point. He was puzzled by all these wonderful things about God and he perplexedly asked aloud: Who is this King of Glory ?!

"Lift up your heads, O you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
the LORD mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The LORD Almighty—
he is the King of glory.Selah. (Psalm 24: 7-10).

Who is this GOD?
All sorts of thoughts concerning God's wonderful nature was going on in the mind of Lucifer while he was strolling on the street of gold in the city of heaven. The thoughts became a  question: WHO IS THIS GOD? The moment those thoughts bundled up into a single question; an unexpected answer came! The answer to Lucifer's question was too sudden. He shuddered. Since, in the presence of God (the one who is the ANSWER Himself), there can be no question or puzzle. Nothing can hide from His Light because in Him is Light. "For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light." (Psalm 36:9). The questions that came to the mind of Lucifer got an instant answer. It was a sudden response from no where.
Lucifer shook with fear. He looked to the right and to the left to see who spoke. Certainly, there was no need to ask who was that. That voice was God. You cannot mistake His voice. It was a thundering voice. The voice was so loud that the whole heaven could hear. God's voice vibrated like echoes. He roared like a mighty rushing winds in answer to Lucifer’s question. "How could God know what was on my mind?" Satan wondered and pondered.  "I was only thinking in my mind. Yet God answered?" God said: "I am the Alpha and the Omega! I am the One who is, the One who was, and the One who is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8). "I am the First and the Last." (Revelation 1:7). "I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades." (Revelation 1:8). "Have you not heard? Long ago I ordained it. In days of old I planned it; now I have brought it to pass..."( 2 Kings 19:25).
Satan shuddered!

Where was God when Japan was going under?-A case for God in Case of Japan

Where was God when Japan was going under? Where was God when Haiti went through earthquake? You may be asking questions. Why will God allow natural disasters? Why will He allow evil in His world?  How can He claim to love and allow disasters on the creature He made? Does God really exist? Does He love me at all? It may surprise you that God see afflictions that people go through. He saw the people of Haiti. He saw the Japanese. He understood what they are going through. He saw them in their pain.
I used to ask why? Until I understood that this was not designed to be a perfect world. This planet was not designed as our final destination.  We are all on a journey. And we are heading home someday. We may enjoy everything we find here on the journey but we must never hold the journey too dear to hearts that we forget our eternal home.  There is a place in the after-life. That is where perfection lies. It is in eternity that earthquakes cease.

Like other countries, Japan was created by God. He knew that the disaster would happen. But God did not stop it. Why? Because death on this earth is not the finality of everything…death is simply a transition. It is not about living or dying as much as it is about who we live for. And where we end up in the afterlife…death is just the beginning. So, the people of Japan may have been through stuff. But God has not forgotten them. He is still God even in their pain. And the sun shall rise again. The Japan we see today will not remain in ruin. It is true that they went through so much. But even in their pain, there is this power and resilience in the Japanese like every human race. We tend to transcend anything that comes against us. That is why you will see a sprouting in a field somewhere after a fire has swept through such field. We mourn whenever people die but what we should be more concerned about is beyond death, what is their hope? It is appointed for man to die once. But after this comes the judgement.
Let me tell you a story:

A maid and a mistress
“And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong [be] upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee. But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid [is] in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur…And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou [art] with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.” (Genesis 16: 5-7 and 11).
I cited a text above concerning the relationship of a maid and a mistress. It may interest us to know that one of the reasons for provocation of divine blessings upon Hagar (an unbelieving lady) was the affliction she faced from her believing mistress (Sarai).  It may surprise you that God sees and hear people’s afflictions. Both the uttered pain and the un-uttered pain are heard by Him. It may interest us to know that God is not in the business of hiding from realities. He does not show up on Sunday mornings in churches to take some of your money in guise of offerings.  Then run away on those slower Monday mornings when everything is boring and tiring.

How this concerns you?
God does not go into hiding when you are faced with challenges.  The story of Sarai and Hagar showed how Hagar was oppressed by her mistress (Sarai). Her mistress was a lady under the covenant who afflicted her slave girl (a lady who was not under the same covenant). But you know what happened? Immediately God saw the maltreatment, He sent out an Angel in search of (Hagar) the slave girl. The Angel went after her and found her. The Angel acknowledged that she was brutally dealt with. God was so moved with compassion to intervene in her matter. Why because God will never support evil. He saw the affliction of Hagar and stepped in with a promise and a blessing. He is the God who sees. His intentions are ever clear. He will not leave your soul in hell. He won’t allow you to remain in your trouble forever. God went after Hagar. He went to search for her in guise of an Angel. Hagar was given a promise concerning her pregnancy. In spites of her different background and faith, God responded in her pain.
This same God is able to respond in the case of Japan and Haiti. He will respond in your situation as well. Just believe Him irrespective of what you go through. He will bring you through it all.

Why should i make another New year Resolution?

Some people often talk about New year resolution as a fad, unimportant. They believe it is unnecessary because it is hard to follow through upon. They feel that since you will make mistakes, you may be unable to reach that very goal you have set in the beginning of the year. So why make one anyway?
I think a resolution is like planning your journey. Its like setting a goal. It is like travelling with a compass. Its like having a GPS in the middle of a jungle. Resolution is like an anchor for a ship. Since, your life is too precious to live aimlessly; it might help to have a resolution. It is like having a guide in major and minor decisions as you walk through the year. Since it helps in making an invisible path through the course of the year. It is wise to have one.
However, it is true that we may fail in our resolutions because we are all humans. So when we fail on our resolutions, what should we do?
We can look unto the one who never fails. We can depend upon Him whose weakness has not been known since the beginning of all time.
He (God) can help us walk through our human frailties. We can depend upon someone who is much more... Someone much larger than life. He is able to help us walk through our weakness to attain the resolutions we have set. You see (my friend), resolution on its own cannot carry us afar. Without a total dependence on God, we will soon crumble in all our good intentions. So, by resolving to walk with God, you already substantiated your resolutions. It has become so potent and livable. Life beyond the ordinary has now joined you on that journey. What often determines where we turn in difficult times will no longer be your human wisdom but the divine wisdom of God.
As for me, i have made my new year resolution to be as follows :Let it be said of us that we walked with God, we ran for noble causes and we did our best in 2011 to make a difference on this side of the world!
Now, i believe that i can do this because i will be walking through it with God. The best anchor for the soul all through this year will be a total dependence on God. This is the actual hope that can sustain your journey, resolve. It is in Christ Jesus; the one who is the head of all principalities and powers. Trusting in Him will make you arrive at your destinations without a shipwreck. He will be a guide for your soul. He will help your journey as you walk through 2011. So, i advice that you make a resolution that is anchored on Christ Jesus.Happy new year!

Protocols of Palace. (Book excerpt).

In certain kingdoms in times of old, the protocols of palace were protocols of order and reverence. To be precise; it meant immobility of mortals. So powerful was the royal lineage that when you see the Prince or the Princess, (not to mention the king himself ) you were expected to stand still in awe. The mentality was that you are seeing the ultimate ruler himself. Thus you are faced with both "beheaded-ness" and beauty of promotion at the same time. Due to the power of presence they carry, each time you are in the presence of these royalties, the expected norm is caution!
Everything you have lived for, up to that moment was stake on this very hour. The unexpected could happen. The king`s mood determine what could happen to you. His heart decides your fate. That is why a ceratin writer said in Proverbs 21:1 that: The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.
Nothing is permanent in the presence of the king. The royal garb may fly over you in admiration and consequent reward. The king may become happier today than aforetime. At some point he may choose to be alone. He may never want to see any guest. He may not come to the corridor today like he has always done. Unpredictability was the norm. However, if the king appear and i happened to be present; I must pause whatever I'm doing  and take a bow in honor of him.
I will inhale his fresh breath, his fragrance and beauty. As i stooped there inhaling, i am also exhaling. I am stooping in fear and terror. I am thinking of my misery yet forcing a smile in servant-hood. For who are you not to smile at the king. You cannot be sad in his presence.
Before the king assumes his throne, there must be dances and songs of praises. Who is it that wants to sadden our king with his or her misery? The ruler must inhale praise. There must be happiness in the air always. Be it feigned or real. Your soul must bless the king such that fragrant flattery must spice his belly.
Pause and ponder; and try to imagine that for a second. Do you realize that although the earthly kings are so powerful; they are so unpredictable, irrational, selfless, and sometimes wicked. But there's still one King who is the king of kings over them all. His name is the God of Heaven and earth. He is the God of wonders beyond the galaxies. He sits in heaven as the most ultimate!
This divine King whose presence calm all fears. Who presence radiates everlasting joy. Whose praise brings you wealth. Imagine how I don't have to force a smile in his presence. I do not need a fake mood. He knows all things and he understands how i am feeling. He does accepts me just the way I am. He is the Potentate ruler who outweighs, outshines all other power and authority. His wisdom transcends the whole universe. His depth cannot be fathomed and his folly is yet to be known.
I think if I can just get there into his presence?I will be made whole. If i can just run into His presence, I will be holding on to royalties that can spare me in days of trouble for He is the mighty warrior. I am the son of the Almighty. And like a prince he sees me.

Dancing to your inner drums!

Just because God deals with us individually and not always as group, when it comes to his specific instruction, it is very easy to compare ourselves with other people. Look unto the rock from were you were hewn, look unto Abraham your father, and to Sarah your mother, for I called him alone. An amazing thing I’ve seen when it comes to hearing from God individually is that you can be in the midst of a crowd and still be the only one who hears what you heard. Your ear could actively screen certain rhythms of instruction while others may not. You are so conscious of the instruction of that moment that you lose touch with the activities in your surrounding. Sounds crazily familiar?
You are among multitude but you are the only one hearing whatever kinds of sound you are hearing. You are hearing specifically what others are not hearing. Others may feel you’re mad for a while until they see what you see and hear what you heard.
And this is when it is very important to follow the direction of the spirit. As God beckons on you with His call, obey the divine program .Follow the yield sign. Why react to the anger of onlookers? You are weird to them and that is true. They cannot feel or see what you are experiencing. Stop trying to explain everything to everyone. They can’t understand by mere explanation. It has to be encountered as revelation. It is a divine matter. Spiritual things can only be understood by spiritually inclined. You are a spiritual being, the workmanship of God of heaven. You were never created to be understood all the time. You were not created by some kind of mathematical brains in a laboratory somewhere rather you were God’s divine intention. You cam into being by the very breathe of the almighty. Through the supernatural power of the almighty God, you were preordained unto greatness. Stop living by human analysis. Why? Because you were meant to live life to the full and be all what God wants you to be. You were destined for greatness. You were craft for God’s glory. Be all you were meant to be.

"Until I bring you word…" Homicide of Proactivity (Part two)

Matthew 2:13 says: "behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word..."
Until I bring thee word, don’t move! Until I bring thee word don’t act on your own, until I bring thee word, don’t change your job. Until I bring thee word, don’t marry in haste. Until I bring thee word, don’t travel on your own. Until I bring thee word, don’t take any rash step. Until I bring thee word, don’t change your routine. Until I bring you word, don’t act smart in the name of pro-activity.

A lot of time we try to be smarter than God, because we have been taught the importance of pro-activity in the school of management. So, we usually go all out on so many projects without consulting God. Forget about your management technique when it comes to God’s specific instructions and timing. Don’t try to persuade God. Don’t organize your own programs. Don’t step out on your own. Don’t do anything without instruction. Joseph was warned in a dream. That was instruction. He woke up and obeyed immediately what the Angel of God told him in the dream. When we wake up, do we rationalize our God given instructions?

Matthew 2:13b says: "...and be thou there until I bring thee word"
This verse shows that instruction must be followed by another instruction in the school of the spirit if we are to be shielded to fulfill our divine calling and purpose. For line must be upon line, precepts upon precepts… Instruction must precede action and reaction for every child of God. Instruction is the utmost. I came to appreciate time and also value instruction more as a result of what I have encountered in dealing with God’s specific words. You got to wait until you catch a revelation. Until a Rhema-word comes alive, until a specific word jumps out of the reading of the word of God, don’t go out on a limb.

Finding the un-lost God...

I have seen how we can be so blessed and not even know it. Having been privileged to visit Clearwater; a small town within Manitoba Province. Lo! There was no network for the phone service provider I normally use. I couldn't even make phone calI or receive calls. It was like being in Ijebu town in Nigeria; West Africa. We can be sad when we realize that we cannot get all we want. But we hardly step back to see all what we have. All the opportunities we can convert, et.al. Isn't it funny how we seldom fail to see what we've really acquired over the years?

I am finding out how people are so different and how they're also the same everywhere you go. “Migration continual” everywhere you go; fro rural to urban, fro urban to urban. Everyone is seeking for something. We are all looking for something better. We want the Golden Fleece. We want a better life. We seek for economic values, financial worth, enduring benefits and gains, social securities and more. We convince ourselves that these are what we are looking for. But just as we reach them. We feel the search has to continue still. In the actual fact what we are really searching for is like a north star, like an ideal that may never be touchable. Could this be the reason why in that process of searching some of us sometimes get caught up in the rat race. We lose our sense of reasoning.

Somehow someone once said: "Until you lose yourself, you can’t find yourself." Therefore, we don't even look before we leap any more. We just throw ourselves on…we go with people, we dabble into situations, we join a ritual, we become member of a committee, we join a group on social networking site, without giving a thought to the responsibilities involved. Without proper scrutiny; we are already involved without proper questioning. Therefore, self-loss is inevitable and it is becoming a phenomenon. It is one thing that separates the matured thinkers from infantile thinkers. Its one thing to get lost; it’s another thing too be lost. I may not clarify the difference. I may just hint on the difference. Just read on.
We must be careful not get lost in other people's folly. It’s like getting caught in a spider web. You may see through it, but you are stuck anyway. At times, you don’t even know if you are seeing clearly or not; for why would you end up in such a mess in the first instance? It is the same thing when it comes to being lost. It is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. I believe that we can actually avoid getting lost. And if we have lost our sense of identity in one way or the other. It is in Christ that we can see our true destiny recaptured, renewed and recovered.

THE MAD PROPHETS!

Redemption was the finished work of Christ on the cross. He paid with His precious blood. Today I am baffled by how some people still go back into the Old Testament to pick out of context some scriptural texts and just misapply them blindly. They misinterpret scriptures in every respect. Imagine you were told to redeem your life with/by money? Because you were a first born of your parent, you have to pay some amounts of money to redeem your life into prosperity when Jesus became poor that we might be rich through His poverty? Alas! I saw it. Out of ignorance people gave money for their own redemption in our day because they found themselves in temporary predicament of life. They doubted the light in them. They felt that by giving money in deed to a prophet, they would be delivered. I shudder. I wonder if they ever knew that their deliverance was already settled on the cross of Calvary over two thousand years ago. I see why Jesus said: You will know the truth and the Truth will set you free. It is not the truth known by somebody else. It has got to be the truth known, understood and embraced by you. It must be your personal experience of the Truth. So what is the Truth? The word of God; the son of God is the Truth. You have to become one with the truth to be free in deed. This personal understanding is what every one of us needs to chase after.

Today we have people profiteering out of other people’s ignorance. And the largest market to make money is the market of spirituality. That is why some prophets, psychics, and diviners are making fortunes out of most people. These people unfortunately are believers who don’t know the God of heaven personally and intimately. They have not had any personal encounter with Him which they can look back on. Hence, they had to be introduced to Him and He had to be portrayed to them with human sense knowledge. But Christ is coming for a church that is without blemish or wrinkle. If you have to be told what God is saying to you as a child of God, you really need help. Because the bible has in store every word you need. And the word of God is the fulfillment of all prophecies. There is no new prophecy. No prophecy should be able to blow you away. When a prophecy now begins to make you tremble or even get you excited; that means you need help. The same scripture that said: “Despise not prophesying.” Is the same scripture that said: “Test and judge all prophecies”…if you are living your life based on prophecies; you will soon crumble. If you are depending on human wisdom, diviner’s intention or inspiration. You are still walking in darkness and you really need help. And help is in the word of God. The word of truth will liberate any man who sincerely seek God.

I have seen this malady in our age. I have seen this madness in my generation. People scream and shout in ignorance but God is not fooled. We are not in a prophetic age that substitutes the bible. And if any prophecy should violate the biblical standard; I will have no respect for that very prophet who spoke! Friends, be careful of what you run after. When he was about to die; David lay on his sick bed instructing Solomon (his son) that: “Know the God of your Fathers”. Something tells me that it was because there are many gods in Israel in those days. There are idols that could perform wonders through magic. And it is easy to be carried away by such. But it was even sad to discover that even Solomon was carried away unto strange gods despites all his wisdom. There’s a thin line between Knowing God and losing God. Men of honour even fall for the fluke. Today, I can see preachers asking audience to bring money for the gift of God. They are asking people to pay before they can be blessed. Meanwhile in the earthly days of Jesus Christ; “He was anointed with Holy Ghost and power such that he went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil for God was with Him.” He did all for free. Then the bible said that: “The gift of God are irrevocable and without repentance”...and…“Every good gift and every perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of light, with whom there is neither shadow of turning nor any variableness”…Alas! God is merchandized in our day! The works of God are for sale. You can now buy the blessing of God with money. And you can even turn God to genie by commanding Him to do something even when it is not in His will. All you need is to give some money to a “prophet” and he will command God for you. Whatever, God will do are being predicted. All manner of wrong things are happening in the name of ignorance. And the representatives of God who should know better are the ones misleading the people. The best amongst us are blind. How can the blind lead the blind?

“My Knight in shining amour”

The Knight with a blazing sword,
My knight in shining Amour!
You’re my battle fighter
My hero, n’ friend,
Defender, n’ helper,
The warrior
Combatant with the blazing sword
who has never lost a battle like you?

You are my hero!
My song, my all
My very strength,
You're my all
And all in all.
My many thanks to you
My Lord, my King
The King of kings,
The LORD of lords...
